Can I start a new club? If so, here is the info: Name: Silver Creek Academy Plaque: Can the Plaque be a rolling green field with a creek running through it? It would be late at night, with a full moon casting silvery light onto the creek with a light gray horse standing at the creek. The horse would be a Polish Arabian. I would love it if the Plaque could look very elegant. Description: Silver Creek is a super-elite boarding school. It starts at seventh grade. The campus is small but beautiful. It has a huge dark green barn with white trim away from the road, where the school buildings are. The dorms are in between the school buildings and the barn. The six dorms are arranged in a semi-circle with the boys on one side and the girls on the other. The dorms are named after 4-star events-boys=Luhumulen, Stars of Pau, Adelaide and girls=Badminton, Lexington and Burghley-You are assigned a dorm by the name, then the floor and room number (ex: Burghley 2-3). All the dorms are 4 stories tall, with the bottom story a common room, door monitors office and room and a small kitchen. The cafeteria is behind the school buildings. In the middle of the barn is the tack room and feed room, on opposite sides. The feed room is flanked by Heather Fox and Sasha Silver, the instructors, offices and after those, stalls. On either side of the tack room are two wash stalls and more stalls. All the stalls have a tack trunk in front of them and blanket hanging on the doors-after all, Silver Creek is in Bedford and we do show all winter-the horses are full clipped. In the tack room each person has space for three saddles and three bridles-Dressage, Cross Country, and Show Jumping. They also have space for another tack trunk with extra supplies. Students are allowed to bring show tack as well. Each horse's stall has a door at the back that can be opened to allow them access to a small paddock, which has a gate at the back that opens to a bigger paddock shared with 3 other paddocks. At one end of the aisle is a covered passage to the huge indoor arena. There is also a dressage arena, an arena used specially for show jumping and two other arenas, plus two round pens-one covered. There are four giant fields. We also have a trail-head that leads to a lot of trails, some of which lead to full cross-country courses and practice courses with jumps in a smaller area. At Silver Creek, riding AND academics are hard, so you better be good. Silver Creek Rules: •No boys in girls dorms or vice versa. •You MUST take a minimum of six classes and one elective (Not included in six). You must take one AP class (Included in the six). •You may not take more than three AP classes. •You cannot complain about what riding team you are placed on. •Bullying is not tolerated and you WILL be expelled for doing so. •In seventh grade you can only bring one horse, in eighth and above you can bring only two •Each dorm has a small living room and two or three bedrooms branching off Club Rules: •All CPP rules apply •NO POWER PLAYING!!!!!
