Tornado Dream
Tornado Dream,
Oh, What a sight!
His fur and mane,
So black and white!
He's like the wind,
He's like the light,
Oh,
Come on Torny,
Shine so bright!
The look in his eyes,
The speed from his heart,
Oh, Torny my dear,
We'll never be apart!
But he's still alive and happy,
Oh yes!
He's got two new play mates,
Lightning, and Tess!

Title: Together, as a Herd
By: Horsesforever12
The snow crunches beneath our hooves,
The river beside us is so still it seems to not move;
We trod onward together, as a herd, as one,
We rest at the evening moon and rise at the morning sun.
Past rocky ledges and mountain faces,
Through the wild wind that races;
We trod onward together, as a herd, as one,
We are merry at the sight of new life; sad when death has won.
At any trouble we come through,
And if you stumble we will help you;
We trod onward together, as a herd, as one,
And we rejoice when our journey's done.

Heart Beat to Hoof Beat
By Morning Glory
As we turn the last barrel, nothing can stop us. All the cheering fades out of my mind and all I can hear is the musical song of friendship, and partnership, not as two but as one spirit. We finish smiling, knowing we have done our best, HEART BEAT TO HOOF BEAT.
This poem is about me and my pony Pegasus when we competed in barrel racing last year. :)<3

A Knight's Horse
By Golden Swallow
Heavy metal must beborne by the knight to protect him.
His horse sometime though gets scared from the weapons that peirce through, even though he's wearing armour too.
Every time they ride out on to the battle feild, a long spear glints next to his eye that the knight yeilds. They meet their enemy, a man with a sheild and a weapon, he's holding a sword. This Knight's horse doth know that from foe, he must defend and fight for his rider. A faithful friend to the end, this horse has been to me. The good knight cries for his fellows and horse as he them both sends down to rest and lie. This horse is used still in war our modern days still breed him. A mare named Seargeant reckless for instance, is one of them that I do speak of. A horse named Jack did not give slack, to the reins inbetween him and the coffin. His load he carried, with dignity and pride. A marine that had fought, he'd fought and died. A Red ribbon is cut in honour for these horses , for they did their jobs to the best of their ability and fought, protected, and served to the end.
A Peom to the service horsesof USA and other countries. GS

i saw a black horse
into the night
you will not see him even in the light
so beautiful to see
you will jump with glee
i have a very good bond
i am fond of him
he is slim and sleek
so good to seek
i ride to the sunset
he will let me pat him
but no one else

Am I the same?
By Pandaluv400
Am i the same?
Who really knows
but am i the targets main aim?
I feel like me
but in a way i don't
or am i just not the right key
Why are you not here with me everyday
i fell very lonely
did i do something that made you go away
Why is there a trailer parked in the way
where are you taking me?
do i really have a say
they are driving me to a scary place
i dont excatly know
i have to get to the bottom of this case
why is there a nasty smell
why am i cramped in small pens
why is there a cruel bell
i am led away with a gruff looking man
he looks very mean
i really don't understand
why are you doing this
it is very mean
i really miss you and your kiss
did i not win a lot of medles
did i not look right
i really really miss your cuddles
you were so sweet
when i was a young filly
but now that your older
i am luged by my feet
i go into a dark room
then the lights go on
and all of a sudden theres a nasty fume
it stinks so bad
why is this happining
did i make you mad
i wonder if you really loved me
i dont want to be here
i must try to flee
i cant do it
not for me or you
because that would be like throwing a fit
am i really the same
as i was years ago
or am i the targets main aim

Title: The Desert Horse
By: Horsesforever12
The desert horse seems to dance
Across the sandy dunes;
Her head held high and her neck arched,
Her eyes glimmer with a certain hue.
Her hooves leave crescents in the sand;
Her mane is always blown back,
Even when there is no wind;
No one can tame her, not by ropes or tack...
But to win her trust,
You should stand from afar;
Just admire her beauty and let her be free,
And let her wild spirit soar.

Title: To save a pony
By: Sockylola1
Sometimes, a pony needs saving.
from a mean trainer, maybe.
Or maybe you think this is the pony you're craving.
You just need to save this pony.
The pony is brown with a black mane.
You drive to a barn to see how it is
in snow, sleet, or rain.
You just need to see the pony you need to save.

With Lady Wind
I was tall in the saddle that was upon my horse Lady Wind.
I looked over to my rite to see the golden field and sparkling green water surrounded by cattails
Though it was a swamp it was beautiful. Lady tossed her head and snorted I knew she wanted to go faster than walk
And so did I, so nudging her sides I let her know to go into a trot.
The skies were blue and crystal clear with maybe a few puffy clouds.
A slight breeze whispered through the fields and played with my free hair.
I smiled feeling the peaceful day settle into my memory and the satisfaction that no humans disturb the sounds of nature
Just the clip clop of hoofs stirred the quietness.
Knowing that if I stayed on Lady Winds back my day would turn out perfect.
By A lover of my horses especially my own Lady wind.
