| Hi, I am a curly girl!!! When I was like 3 or 4 years old, my mom and dad realized that my curls weren't just baby curls. From that day on until just last year, I was in a constant battle with my hair. Then, one of my friends told me about this book called The Curly Girl book. It has taught to appreciate my curls and to take care of them! There are still times wish I could ave been born wit straight hair. Most of the time however, I love my hair and a glad I have curls!!! I have a ton of tips to share and I would be glad to get tips from other people:) | bannana & mindy |

| Becky12, curly hair does tend to get in knots. It can be VERY frustrating at times. One thing for your sister to consider is switching over to using a large tooth comb. However, if her hair is really tangled,this could take a lot of time and a lot of patience! What I do with brushing is, I only brush my hair when I am in the shower and I have conditioner in my hair. The conditioner helps the brush to go through the hair SO much easier. It also is less damaging to the hair. Once it is dry, don't brush it. Especially before you have to go somewhere. Brushing curly hair while it is dry make it lose it's curl definition. It turns it into frizz. Yes, curly hair might still frizz some, but the results are much better. At the end of the day, if there are a lot of tangles in your hair, she could brush it before she goes to bed. This way, when it frizzes, no one will see it:) | bannana & mindy |
