Young children

Christmas

We walk hand in hand,
my mother, my sister, and I.
Our feet softly press down the glittering snow,
as we walk so joyously by.
Streetlights make shadows dance,
across the street in front of us.
Oh I wish it could last forever,
this night oh so wondrous.
This holiday is my favorite,
and not because of presents.
I love the feeling of family,
It's something that that no one resents.
I love the Christmas carols,
There notes so pure and great.
I love the snowflakes and icicles,
but make no mistake.
The best part of Christmas is Jesus,
He's the icing on the cake.

Christmas story

Snow falls thick and fast,
and I remember Christmas's past.
Jesus was born in a small town,
not wearing a crown,
born in the barn,
with lots of charm,
born in the manger,
a true life-changer.
Mary the virgin gave birth to Him,
and I'd like to obey God's every whim.
The savior was born,
soon to have torn
the veil separating us from God.
Jesus is Lord, that's certainly true,
and it's nice to know that He loves you.

The Christmas Tree

Covered in shiny tinsel
with ornaments, red and green
this decoration we gaze upon
is a beautiful sight to be seen.
The room is now in darkness
but it still feels so warm and bright,
The star that sits on the very top
brings a great and shining light
