Remembrance Day
A day when we
solemnly think
of the soldiers
and remember
what they did for
us. Among the
poppies, those men
who died now lay.
Freedom for us,
because they fought
and sacrificed
themselves to give
us a better
life. We sit at
school because of
these courageous
men. Mounted on
their noble mounts,
or not mounted
at all they ran
to the battle
likely knowing
what would happen
but they went on
and persevered.
Freedom because
of them. So we
should take the day
dedicated
to those people,
those veterans
who now rest in
Flanders field.

What a sight

Green meadows
Beneath the blue sky
Lit up by the gloden sun.
Yellow flowers decorate this meadow.
Brown horses gallop along the grass
But the black horse, he is the one to watch
Grey horses join the stampede,
But the black horse, he's the real sight.
Chestnut horses dot the field
But the black horse, he's the real wondrous view
Palominos are cheerful looking,
But the black horse,
What a sight!

And what a sight it is!

A marvelous sight if I ever saw one!
All the horses of the horse rainbow gallop together,
Showing off their good looks.

Christmas

Its winter time, filled with snow,
decorations include lights that glow.
In this time of year, the elves work and play,
And the reindeer practice pulling Santa's sleigh.
He goes down the chimney and gives you a gift,
He travels through the sky, his reindeer so swift.
He put lots of presents in your house,
He tiptoes as quietly as a mouse.
The next morning has come,
there are things for everyone!
Can you guess what holiday it is?
Its obvious, CHRISTMAS!!!

Galloping along the mountainside,
life is a journey enjoy the ride.
The sunrise is bright, what a beautiful sight,
I stop to admire the bright morning light.
As the sunlight gets more bright, my horse and I begin to take flight.
We gallop and breathe the crisp morning air,
as the sun is shining without a glare.
Time to return home, light as bright as day,
I turn my horse loose, to freely graze.

You can jump it, it's fate
A daisy and brush underside
Your impatient horse lets out a sigh
Don't go slow or fast but step light
Get the canter just right
Count the paces one by one
The waiting is half the fun
Stand in two-point and hold on tight
Grab the mane, wait until the time is right
Take off the ground and soar
Your horse whinnies, ready for more
Lean back as your horse touches down
A perfect score, your rivals frown
The judge comes out, your first place ribbon is here
The crowd stands and then they cheer
