As I hurtled over the last jump I felt my rider begin to slip! We could lose! After 5 years of preparing of jumping the 7 foot jump! Our hard work could go down the drain! I couldn't let that happen!I slowed at the perfect spot but she let go of the reins and began falling! I caught her just in time with my head! She had now hit the ground! We were not disqualified! We ended up getting first place! After the jump, unless you fall off you are not judged. The judge even gave us extra points for the spectacular save. But I stepped wrong and broke my leg! As we got home my little rider noticed."Oh, my pony broke her leg!" She cried out. Her parents called the vet to come out and look at me."It cannot be fixed, we will have to put her out of her misery." My rider cried. She wanted to watch me.She promised the day I was born, that she would stay with me till the very last second. I knew what she meant. She meant that she'd be with me to my very last second. In a few moments it was over. I was gone. I was named pony of the year because I was only 12 hands and 8 years old I had jumped 7 foot. Though my life was short, it had been perfect all the way through. And once again I grazed with my mother, in the field where that 7 foot jump had been my future. Soon my rider's parents and my rider joined me and I was complete once again.

The big day.

It was a busy Friday at Fresians Farms, and Carol was busy getting ready for the big show the next day. Carol and her pony, Lego-My-Eggo, otherwise known as Lego, or Waffle, were sighned up for the cross country course at 3:00. Carol groomed Lego until he glimmered. Then she tacked him up and picked out his hooves. Lego snorted as Carol tightened his girth.
"Silly boy!"
Soon, they were warming up, and going over their course on a map. Carol and Lego warmed up and headed towered the starting line.
"Go!" the anouncer said.
And they were off! Lego paced himself for the 5 minute ride. They jumped the first log, then raced over to the coop. They jumped a ditch, then cantered over to a small log cabin. Then came the water jump. Lego jumped that with ease. But then came the hardest one of all. The 5 foot brush hedge. Many riders had fallen off at this jump. Lego started galloping, closer, closer the jump got, until they were over! Carol didn't fall off! They made it in an amazing time of 4 minutes and 11 seconds! At the end of the show, they had one first place! Carol held up the shiny trophee, then gave it to her mom to hold. Every body congragulated her as she sat there on the amazing Lego-My-Eggo!

Halloween Pony

" I have special Halloween candies for everyone." said my teacher, Mrs. Lenser. It was Friday and we just finished watching a Halloween movie because Halloween was on Sunday. As she handed the candies out, mean Alexia, who Mrs. Lenser assigned to help me out came by. I was new to this school, and it was only my second week here."Can I trade candies with you?" asked Alexia as she held out her smarties.I had to give her my precious chocolate bar.Everyone, including the teachers loved her. She is a teachers pet and a show off. Last time I said no, I got a detention.I sighed. I gave her my chocolate and she gave me the smarties. This sure has been a long week, I thought.
"Midnight!" I cried, running towards my jet black pony grazing in the paddock." I missed you so much!" I hugged her tight. "we're going for a ride with Abby and Pegasus." Abby's my new and only friend here.Luckily, she was my neighbor.She was also home schooled for some weird reason. I saddle Midnight up and met Abby in Pegasus' stall getting ready." Almost done saddling up." said Abby. Then we went on riding in the forest." So hows school?" Asked Abby." Not very good." I replied. " Alexia keeps on bugging me out." "uh, why don't you just be home schooled like me?" I sighed." I Don't know."
On Halloween I dressed up as a witch. I draped a big white blanket over Midnight with holes cut out for his eyes. "Now you are a ghost." I exclaimed proudly. Abby and I rode our ponies around the neighborhood for candy. Abby was dressed up as a princess and Pegasus was a Unicorn. " Guess what!" Abby asked excitedly.Before I replied she said " I'm going to be in you're class because I'm not going to be home schooled anymore!" " NO WAY!!!" I said. Just then Alexia came by dressed as a ballerina." Look at you Abby, the girl who I got suspended for 2 years." I gasped, thats why Abby was home schooled! Just then, Midnight kicked Alexia's knee. " OWWWW" she screamed. Her knee was
bloody. " Ha, you've got no proof that Midnight did that." As we quickly cantered away. Now, I knew that We wouldn't be bothered again. This was the best Halloween I ever had! But this was just the beginning of my happiness.
